Here Kitty Kitty...Nice Kitty....

Sometimes, just for the heck of it, I'll check out the pet section of CraigsList. I do not recommend doing this as I become very sad every time I read them. I don't like reading about pets that people no longer have time for and are now searching for a "forever home" for. Hmmmm.
But I must get SOMETHING out of it, as Dr. Phil would say. Yes, you're right. I enjoy seeing the cute pet photos. That's pretty much it. And, every once in a while, I'll run across a gem like the following:

"Phoebe is a very loving cat with a sweet demeanor. She needs a good home with no small children and someone is home to give her lots of attention. Elderly folks would be ideal. She is sensitive to change and being left alone for long periods of time. (overnight) She's never been outside and needs to be an indoor cat. free kitty gazebo scratch post with her."

There is so much I want to say that I am stuttering. Well, type-stuttering. Study the picture. Read the ad. Sweet demeanor? Are they kidding me? Look into those evil, spawn of satan eyes. At least they are attempting to save the small children. EXCEPT FOR THE ONE IN THE PHOTO!!! And we all know why the "cat" needs lots of attention at home. Because it will poison you at dinnertime or suffocate you in your sleep! Can you imagine even turning your lights out at night with that "cat" loose in your house?
"Elderly folks would be ideal." For what, exactly? Because they won't be fully aware that the fiendish "cat" is quietly plotting to take over the universe?
Obviously, I could go on and on, but we need groceries and frankly, I am kind of spooking myself a little bit.
This is why we are forever Dog People.

I couldn't believe the caption and the photo were of the same cat! Who would put their innocent little baby next to that thing?!?

Maybe the "elderly people" part is because no one would suspect the owner died of anything of than "natural causes"? I think the cat wrote the whole thing itself. Eek! lol
