Rod! GREAT Video, Man! Fabulous camera work--the dog-shot is so deep and riveting. It sets the context and mood for the message.

Diane: OHMYGOSH you are cracking me UP! Honestly, I don't know why I'm doing this, but I'm kinda sorta tearing up because A) I'm so happy to really see your face for more than one second B) I'm so happy that there aren't any technical glitches so far C) You are making me so happy and making me laugh. I think I'm having another "best day of my life!" Love the rollers! Love you, Diane!

That is so funny!! Don't kill the husband. I hear that it is difficult to blog from prison. ;)

AND... love, love, love the doggy. We have one too. He is just a pup but golly is he ever a handful.

I'm glad I got to "meet" ya!

Oh my gosh! Hilarious! You are a brave woman going on here in curlers! :)

Ok, I don't know you, but I LOVE YOU. :) Anybody that can sit in their robe and curlers and pull off great comedy like that is amazing in my book.

And your husband rocks. :)

Love it! What's wrong with cheese nips for breakfast? My son would love that!

Okay, I laughed really hard. You always seem to come up with THE best blogging ideas. Rod did a great job as cameraman. Hmmm...I can see a reality show in your future! LOL

How fun is this?! I think your dog is awesome too. I have an adopted boxer. He belongs to our neighbors but stays over here and clearly loves me the most. I'm now hooked on boxers.

fun video! nice to meet you. and i'm thinking your next video blog needs to be of your husband tied to the chair w/ rollers in HIS hair and for us to hear him talk! he is ornery! cute idea of the morning routine.

Oh Diane, isn't this so much FUN??? We should buy Linda like a car or something for being so SMART! :-)

You are SUCH a neat lady! I have laughed, cried (hard, ugly cries...testimony, yes ma'am) and everything in between on your blog.

Very cute post...curlers...you're brave, too. Has anybody else told you that today? Just a few? Well, they're right!

That was the BEST! How did you not crack and laugh under the pressure? I would have either taken the camera from my husband or would be rolling on the floor by the end. Great video! Fun to "meet" you today!

Brenda said...

So funny! Thanks for the laugh!

Brenda said...

WOW, I feel so honored to be mentioned in the video. Poor Josiah, he never seems to call at the right time. Why is everyone acting like it was a big deal for you to be in curlers...they obviously haven't seen you at the local piggy wiggly ever huh? LOL Just kidding! This was mild compared to how much you usually make me laugh. You should show the pics of Rod being "hog tied & peanut buttered" by my kids.

Cathy said...

lol, I don't know you, Diane, but I must say you are a brave, cute one. I enjoyed your video.

We bloggers need to stick together. Our families just don't understand us. My family is on me like white on rice tonight while I visit all these blogs. Great video. Was that a whole drawer full of candy wrappers?

I couldn't tell how much of that was staged and how much was truly impromptu. It was all pretty funny though.

Seriously, this was great. I am going to be adding so many new blogs to my google reader, I'm not going to have time to write my own!

I'm a loser and didn't do a video post, but feel free to visit my blog anyway!!

VERY fun video! Loved it. Especially your reaction to the yogurt. I hope you pulled the chocolate and cheezits back out after the camera was turned off ;-)

One of my VERY FAVORITES of the whole 'I see what you are saying' thing. I am still laughing! :) You are awesome - as is Rod (Hope he wasn't too abused after that) as is the dog. :)

That was a riot.

I thoroughly enjoyed this! And I loved that your husband (and dog! cute!) were part of this too! You are so much fun!!

T said...

You are hysterical...can we see a video of you chewing out your hubby next time?!?! Love this!

larkswing said...

LOL - I was surfing through bloggers blog rolls when I came across this post. This is great! What is even funnier? Well, I had problems with the Blair Witch movie, yes, I became motion sick. So I had hit that spot with the video (no offense, I am very prone to the condition), but I did not want to turn it off, so, as with Blair Witch, I had closed my eyes to listen and open one eye when I wanted to see what was happening. Then you said that about the Blair Witch - too funny!

His Girl said...

Had to come back and again and tell you how much I enjoyed this! well done!

She's smart. She's witty. She's pretty. She acts. She directs. She writes. She encourages.

Funny video! Thanks for the respite from the craziness of my work day.

It is going to take several days to visit all the video clips at Linda's blog, there are so many! Too funny, I highly recommend a tripod, cuts the feelings of stupidity down to just you and the camera. It was way harder than I thought to put my fac ut there. Thanks for the giggle!

You are hilarious!!! And what a great cameraman. I promise, my husband would be trying to follow my (bogus) instructions!! He's great for some things, but not comedy camera work!! Nice to see you and put a face and a voice (Do I hear some Canada there??? Or at Least Minnesotan?? I know you're in Seattle, but it sounds more Northeastern...buy maybe my ears are off) Whatever!! I loved it!!

You and your camera man...quite a team ;)

Loved the video...you two were hilarious! Your sense of humor is priceless...and my hat's off to you for going on the internet in curlers and a bathrobe! Reality TV at it's best :)

I am so bummed I only found out about this video meme after it was over...oh well...

Again, you had me chuckling quietly as everyone else sleeps!

Cindy-Still His Girl said...

That was PERFECT and it simply served to make me love you EVEN more than I already did.

My favorite part was when you said a sentence with both "most" and "post" in it in your cute little accent. :) Of course Tripod Rod was fabulous.
