NEW Leather ESV Bible...Priceless

Maybe not priceless...but kinda is, you know.

You can take your Starbucks gift cards, your Bath and Body Works baskets and your gourmet chocolate bars because I am giving away

TRUTH AND LIGHT. (cue the "Hallelujah Chorus")

That's right, sister.

A gorgeous, brand new, gator-design leather ESV thin line brown and tan bible. This is beautiful and shouldn't just be sitting quietly on our book shelf. It should be changing lives.

Here is what John Piper says about the ESV Bible:

“The ESV satisfies the preaching, memorizing, studying, and reading needs of our church, from children to adults. We are building all our future ministry around it.”

And, here is a little excerpt, from the actual bible you will win, just to get you excited about reading it:

"Oh Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!
You have set your glory above the heavens. Out of the mouths of babies and infants, you have established strength because of your foes,
to still the enemy and the avenger.
When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers,
the moon the stars, which you have set in place,
what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him?"
Psalm 8:1-4

When you win this bible, you can read more and even finish that chapter and book. It is that good!

So sign up to party in this give-away by leaving your name and email address in the comments area. You can live in the US or Canada, because I'm all about uniting our nations like that.
I almost missed this giveaway...unbelievable.
Go here to sign up for all kinds of other goodies, and although they may not lead you to eternal life, maybe they will help you look all sparkly or could be they might taste delicious. Perhaps both. Maybe all three. This is good.

Oh, and by, the by, if you actually do have any spare Starbucks gift cards, extra Bath and Body Works baskets or special gourmet chocolate, I am a big, big fan of all three. Huge fan. Love them all. Just thought I'd let ya know.

Well that's just about the perfect gift right there! As a matter of fact, you should come read my story of receiving that very thing as a gift this past week! Great timing! :-)

Priceless is right. I actually have someone I would like to give that too if I happen to win it.

Good Prize!

BTW...I will have to put the Joshua Project widget on my blog. I really like that one.

I would love this!! We have several Bibles that we use a lot, but not a single one is ESV!

Oh! That would be such a blessing! My Bible is an NIV Study Bible, which I've had since I was a freshman in high school... 1984ish... I love it, but it's disintegrating! I've heard lots of good things about the ESV, too.

Thanks for sharing!!

This would be the most perfect win for anyone. Even if they don't have God in their life..they can learn to let him in. I love this giveaway and this is one I am going to check back on a cross my fingers that I win.

I would love to have an ESV Bible since that is what our pastor preaches out of and my old Bible is falling apart! Thanks! dar.sieb @ gmail.com

I stumbled upon your blog from a comment you left on mine and I must say that I've thoroughly enjoyed reading through your blog!! I love the give away idea.. If I win, I promise to find someone to bless with it. I'm reading a book now by Lysa Turkeurst about her saying Yes to God and she shares about giving her bible away to a man on an airplane. I like to think that if I were to win, it is because God has someone he wants me to touch.

I love the ESV - it makes things so much clearer to me, and the language is just beautiful. Thanks for a great giveaway!

Is it wrong of me to want this? Because I have Bibles, but not ESV. But I cannot deny that I want it. OK, if I win, and one of the girls at the CPC wants it sometime when I'm counseling her, I will give it to her.

What a thoughtful idea! I need to get on the stick and offer something...

I'd lurve an ESV. I just added an NLT, and I have an NIV and a Message/NiV dualing bible. I'm asking for a KJV and an NASB for my b'day. Call me geeky like that.

I actually have an old KJV, but the pages are falling out, so I'm going to keep it as a keepsake. It may just be almost as old as Jesus.

What a lovely giveaway! I would love to win this!!! My email address is kudlockn@aol.com and my name is Nancy.

I am passing 3 awards to all my readers so drop by and grab them if you'd like. You and your blog are so deserving of them!!! You are such an inspiration to me!!! It's been rough since my divorce 11.5 years ago....I feel like I have been put through the wringer to the point of attempted suicide. I am doing better now, but I still have my 'down' days. After 34.5 years of marriage, this has been a shock to me, to say the least. I was never alone before. A couple gave me a Recovery Bible for Christmas one year, and I love it! I sit up all night and read it until daylight sometimes when I can't sleep.

Hope you are safe and warm where you live! We are fine here in SC. I am anxiously awaiting for Spring to arrive myself.

((( HUGS )))

Thank you for the chance - Our church just started using the ESV Bible about a year ago across the board, while I love my NIV, sometimes I find it difficult to follow along with it now. Besides that, my Bible has been loved over the years, and is showing it! A new one in ESV would be very nice
