So....

My son, having heard all about the wonderfulness that emerges from my bread machine on a weekly daily hourly basis put in a request for a loaf of cinnamon raisin bread.

Sure, I was quick to reply. Because what mom doesn't love to give gifts of food to their children, especially once that are warm and fragrant and speckled with plump raisins and spiced with cinnamon?

The yeast didn't work. I made a rock for Josiah.

"Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone?" Matt.7:9

Clearly, I will.

I bet if he chisels some off and dips it into his coffee, it'll be a tasty stone.

lol! I know it is not funny, but it is great how a request with bread could be matched up so perfectly with that Bible verse!

I am still laughing. I read your blog often....you are a great writer.

Hope you will stop by my blog .
I am going to have a "card box" giveaway every month. With so many comments, I decided this must be a prize that bloggers wanted.
This drawing will be the last day of April.
Every comment you leave throughout the month will enter your name in the drawing.
This NEW blogger was so touched by all the comments I got on the Blog Party, that I decided to make this a monthly GIFT...
Also, if you mention my blog, telling about the monthly giveaway, you will have your name entered 10 extra times...How is that for an incentive?
I was so blown away by all the responses that I wanted to email each person personally, but TIME... just has not permitted..but I did love reading all of them..I am continuing to introduce my family members and then there will be some fun blogs coming up from Disney World in May.

I am so thankful for all my new friends.

Oh my, I had the same thing happen. Only mine was banana bread. My daughter took it to her boyfriends place to give to his chocolate lab puppy to chew on.

I also did this with Banana bread :) It was so heavy we put it out on the ledge for the birds to eat...they couldn't fly afterward!
